Hi, I'm Renee! I love all things handmade and creative, and from a young age I loved to paint and draw. My mother taught me how to sew at home on her old Bernina sewing machine, and I made my first scrunchies at age 8.
Moonlight Made began 5 years ago when I started sewing pencil rolls ( roll-up style pencil cases). The business name was inspired by the late nights and hours I spent after my children were tucked in for the night. Being able to use my skills to create custom handmade pencil rolls in various fabrics, styles and sizes for others, reignited my passion and love for handmade.
I love to sew unique, useful, custom and personalised handmade items for you all, with each item made for a purpose and made to last. Our shop is filled with gift ideas that "can't be found on a shelf".
