Hi! Im Bek, the owner and operator of SoZen Byron Bay

SoZen was born from a desire to work from home, a love of cyrstals and their intrinsic health benefits, and a need to have a healthy balance between work and family.
I am a happily married mum of 5, two beautiful step sons, 2 of my own little cherubs and a miniature Dachshund with a big name, Sampson and we are all very lucky to call Byron bay home. Time with family, friends, being creative and preferable one or all of the above at the beach is super important to me but I needed a venture, a work challenge that wouldn’t take away from being a mum and all the things I love.
I love the way crystals form part our everyday life and I love the beauty and harmony they bring to us.
I am also passionate about the environment and how our daily choices can make such a big impact on the preservation of our special home. Single use plastic is ending up in landfill and also in our oceans so by choosing a SoZen Crystal Infused Water bottles you are doing your part to reduce single use plastic as well as doing something super special for your body.

When Covid hit us back in 2020 SoZen took a turn towards Mindfullness......

I had been away in Bali for a girls holiday when Covid shut the world down. We were on the last flight back into Australia and forced into self isolation for two weeks, I picked up my family and isolated ourselves on our 12 acre property in Tenterfield. Then the strangest things I had ever seen happen, the whole world was forced into lockdown. It was surreal and absolutely no surprise that crystal infused products really were not on the forefront of peoples minds.

Instead what I was seeing was the need now more than ever to reconnect!
At first lockdown was great! Time at home with my family with no commitments anywhere! Was like another little holiday but then the mind started to play with me and I got depressed, an unusual state for me to be in. The mind is a very powerful tool and when left to its own devices can have your thoughts spiralling out of control in ways that do not serve you. How many times have you caught your thoughts and gone WHOAH! at how one negative thought turned into another and another and another and before you know it, those thoughts have become your reality. Where your attention goes, energy flows. What you think about you bring about.... You get the drift!

So I decided to add one extremely beneficial tool to my toolkit and studied Modern Therapeutic Hypnotherapy so I could help others struggling with their lives and help people through Covid. This coupled with my certification in NeuroLinguistic Programming and TimeLine Therapy ® meant I could help people with a whole range of things that were holding them back. Here was the beginnings of the incorporation of mindfulness services to my product range.
