Oh So Bow-tiful! was founded in September 2020. It was mid lockdown 2.0 for us Victorians and my partner had treated me to a cutting machine so that I could "get crafty". I was in daily contact with my best friends, one of which had given birth to a beautiful baby girl at the beginning of July. The first little girl in our group of friends and one we were hanging to spoil with pretty pink goodies, especially bows. It was then that I discovered that this machine that I had gotten could cut bows, and then it all began!

I created some wonderful little bows and I soon was lucky enough to stock them at my local Pharmacy and a wonderful little gift shop called Loch Village Emporium, located in the beautiful town of Loch in South Gippsland.

My passion for creation was in full bloom.

Meanwhile, little T had been born with CHD - Congenital Heart Disease and needed two life saving surgeries, the first of which was at just 13 days old. When I first started making bows, I obviously was looking at an income to allow myself to stay at home with my children, but one day I said to my friend "what if we could create bows that would help raise money and awareness for CHD".

February is heart month, and the 14th of February is Sweetheart Day. In February this year, we worked together and created a Heart Kids inspired range, and we sold these creations - Bows, Headbands, Bowties and Keyfobs, with all profits being donated to Heart Kids. We raised a total of $589.00!!

My passion for fundraising was in full swing and in March 2021, I organised a raffle for the Royal Childrens Hospital Good Friday Appeal. We sold 500 tickets and raised $1,000.00!

Here at Oh So Bow-tiful! we are continuing to grow, and supporting small business and fundraising is a huge passion of ours and something we will continue to do well into the future!
