I recently bought the Hard Yakka outback Dealer boots in tan. I actually got them for working in and doing DIY. However they are that nice that I done want to hammer them and therefore have been using them for going out in. They seem great quality and I reckon they will last years. I got half a size up as per the recommendations and other reviews, however I could have got away with my normal size as they are a tad large. Finally apart from the boots being really nice, I wanted to buy from a smaller independent company (Big Boots) rather than one of the giant online stores. Cheers

Bought my Steel Blues back in January 2022. I wear them five days a week at work across a range of industries from warehousing to quarries, and here I am in April 2024 with the same boots still going strong so I thought a second review was in order.

Externally, there's still plenty of life left in them as you can see from the photo. They're still really comfy and the only part to have worn out is the lining in the heel which is probably to be expected, given it's normally the first part to go on any of my boots and shoes. I give them a polish every couple of weeks which has hopefully helped them last.

When it comes to replacement time, I'll be buying another pair of these for sure.

These boots are fantastic, excellent soles soft for walking all day, uppers also excellent no break in period require, and the zip in makes them easy and quick to get one. Service at Big books, Ryan and staff were top notch, made my boots were delivered quickly and correctly.

I bought my first Steel Blue’s about two and a half years ago and wore them almost every day. I must have walked hundreds of miles in them for work and pleasure, from the hills of Devon to the mountains of Scotland maintaining Telecoms Systems, they were comfortable and kept my feet worm in winter and quite cool in the summer because of there light colour. My feet were safe and I never dropped a thing on them. What’s the point of spending money on steel toe capped boots. Well I’ll tell you. I also wore my Blue Steel Boots on the week end when my wife went to tend her horse, while I walked beside her with the dog. Let me tell you when a paper bag dragon being blown by the wind appears from a bush ready to eat the nags face off it does one thing, it goes completely bonkers rears up and stomps it’s near side front foot on my off side right foot. Thank GOD for Steel Blue and steel toe capped boots. So when they had seen their day what do you do? You go back to what you know works and that’s STEEL BLUE from BIG Boots. Recommended.

Being ex pats of Perth WA ourselves we were already fans of the Steel Blue brand. These are brilliant boots. Thank you to Big Boots for importing the best boot brand to the UK.
